Oklahoma the latest in Made in U.S.A. trend

Oklahoma Flags - Made in the U.S.A.

Oklahoma has joined the American-made movement! In January of 2016, Oklahoma State Rep. Ken Walker introduced House Bill 2341 named The American Flag Act. HB 2341. The bill is designed to ensure that all American flags purchased with public funds be manufactured in the United States. Walker, a veteran of Operation Desert Storm, stated that it was important to him that the symbol of American freedom be ‘homegrown’ and that he suspects most Oklahomans feel the same way.

The progression continues. . .

Since 2006, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Arizona, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Florida and now Oklahoma have all pursued or enacted legislation to ensure that our most treasured American symbol is produced with the highest standards right here in the U.S.

How can you tell if your flag is American-made?

Flags that are mass produced outside of the United States and do not follow the same standards of quality that flags made in the U.S.A. offer. The FMAA seal that always appears next to the LIBERTY FLAGS, The American Wave® logo is the only sure way to know that your flag is made in American with domestically sourced materials.Where your flag is made can be a good indicator of how well it is made. All LIBERTY FLAGS ceremonial flags are made in the U.S.A. Find out why here.
