Kentucky State Flag

100% American-made Kentucky state flags

The Bluegrass State is home to some of our nation's most fertile land and abundant resources — the blue grass tells the tale! Kentucky also boasts the world's longest known cave system (Mammoth Cave national Park), more miles of navigable rivers and streams than any other state in the contiguous U.S., and the two largest man-made lakes east of the Mississippi River. Horse racing, bluegrass music, and fried chicken are also among Kentucky's famed pursuits.

The Commonwealth of Kentucky was formed from lands that were formerly a part of Virginia. Virginia granted its permission for Kentucky County to pursue its own statehood, and Kentucky became the 15th state to join the Union on June 1, 1792.
